Feel stuck in a rut?

How do you find your passion and creativity in life when you feel stuck in a rut?

You can access your creativity more easily and recharge your zest for life, by reflecting on the following:

    • First, think about a time in your life when you were in the ‘zone’, where you lost track of time because you were enjoying yourself so much- see yourself there:

    • When was that?

    • What were you doing - was it a physical activity or more of a mental space?

    • Who were you with - in a group or alone?

    • Where were you - what was the setting?

In doing this self-reflection, you’ll gain insights on how to ignite more excitement in your life and fuel creativity in all other aspects of your life.
    • Think of ways you can bring those types of activities as noted above into your daily life more often?

    • Have a buddy be an accountability partner - where you remind each other what fuels and revives you. Plan those activities together.

    • More often, give yourself permission to drop things that drain you and make more time for the things that excite you.

    • Make time for fun and pleasure in your life; it’s not frivolous, it recharges you.

    • Lessen stress; it closes off creativity and passion. Relaxation fuels creativity.
